Looking for a different kind of music from a band unlike any other? Ween will give you what you need. The best introductory album, in my opinion, would be "The Mollusk". Other great albums include; "Chocolate & Cheese", "Quebec", and "White Pepper", just to name a few. If you are interested in unique style that has that strange ability to draw you in as a listener......look no further. It's Ween. Thank me later.

As a drummer.. I felt the same way bruv. With almost all of their songs. Their composition, the energy and dynamics. The beauty and vision of it all. We love seeing others go on this ride.

Mike is an amazing singer, even if I don't have many of his songs on a playlist and he's very entertaining. Do yourself a favor and watch one of the many vocal compilations of him on UA-cam and maybe a video of his craziest moments. Greetings from Germany

Bro, I enjoy your reactions. I think you are misguided on your opinion of Maynard. His interviews in his younger years come with the more of PUNK attitude with which they started. They don't really like doing interviews. so, if the interviewer is some scrub MTV (back in the day) DJ, they would just bust their balls and, yes, with an attitude. Now, in the later years, the interviews became better as he matured. He is really, very down to earth and very successful in dam near everything he does outside of music. I would suggest listening to some of the more recent interviews. It might help. Once you understand where he is coming from, you will get more out of the music. Just my opinion.

If you took mushrooms and watched tele-tubbies it will enhance the experience doofus. I think, you think.. that if you had their mixer and equipment your drumming would be equally this stellar. It wouldn't ever be tho, and deep down you know you will never write anything close to this. talking about fake deep.. while you call your callus rant/reaction a soliloquy. "nothing crazy is going on" every track,.. then you are rhythm deaf bro.

You guys were actually way less harsh than I was expecting from your reactions and comments made throughout the song. I disagree almost completely, but I also feel like your feelings are pretty reasonable, and I left the video understanding why you feel that way.

You guys sound cocky lol. I’ve been drumming for 20 years, mastered a lot of sounds, TOOL still remains one of my biggest challenges when playing a cover. Danny Carey is one of a kind.

this is decidedly not the song i’d recommend to someone who’s never listened to meshuggah before. maybe listen to Straws Pulled At Random, Dancers To A Discordant System, or Demiurge. i’m sure u could find some meshuggah that you enjoy, especially if you like periphery; this is one of their main influences

I can identify what each one is saying however it validates or invalidates nothing, especially all keyboard solos are exactly the same. 🤣 some people safe in boxes, others look outside. even then life is a journey. do what speaks to you, ignore all else. variety is the spice of life, as every single one of us have different fingerprints and different resonant frequencies : )

The guitarist, onar is the band director. He was said to have a natzi-esque hold on the creative direction of the band. Theodore played exactly as he was told. Pridgen is a prince where Theodore is a God. You need to chill. Look into it...

You may never see this, but for the real fans. Wag wan. It's not music , it is medicine and appreciation for growth. Not many bands allow their art to grow. All of these dudes are masterclass in their element. I'm so proud of Maynard to navigate his way through likely difficult scenarios and still have the ability to create the landscape and create discussion of the topic. Well done done on you for allowing a University to try to figure out your concepts. University of Guelph. Canada. Are not we all trying to make our way.

If music goes all in dark, then to me it ends up sounding cliche and over the top. A bit like a gimmick. But having darkness mixed with "pop" or light-hardheartedness, then to me it's actually more impactful. Do we know what the song means? It's actually pretty nihilistic. We're "flies in the vasoline". They don't take themselves too seriously, so they're not afraid of mixing darkness with light.

We feel this when we hear it in different ways. I love your reactions respectively. One of you was vibing with the music and the other was involved with the lyrics. I’m so glad that you are enjoying this music. It’s my very favorite music when I create art. It’s created with the Fibonacci frequency. It’s deep. I appreciate your content and interest in the music.

We went through so many drummers trying to play Tool songs. We got a really good one then he had to do the family thing and I understood that but not the other 3 fellas so we all went our separate ways. I'm chilling in the Philippines and watching these singers here. They are absolutely incredible. I was walking one night and heard Celine Dion on someone's jukebox then when I found the music it was this tiny 4'8 little woman sounding exactly like Celine and I just started watching all the singers here. We have very good ones. The most famous one in Arnel Pineda lead singer for journey the past 20yrs or so.

Completely agree with you, there should have been sections where the orchestra had some prominence. The intro was great but once the song started it felt like the orchestra was marginalised and drowned out a bit. Performing in such an iconic building and being blessed enough to have such support, it could have been utilised much better than it was. Don't get me wrong, it was an amazing performance and Oliver Sykes always caps his potential and gives the crowd 100% of himself. In theory the idea was stellar but the execution I found to be slightly lack-luster and it left me, as a viewer, wanting.
